Process & Reflection

Created thumbnail, sketched out composition on mixed media paper, colored the piece with pastel colored pencil, and finally used finishing spray.

Weaknesses: Struggled to avoid smearing on paper, and to be detailed. Additionally wish the background was more elaborate in light of the Art Nouveau style. The female subject also could've looked more natural. 

Strengths: I believe I was successful in my color scheme and allowing each subject to pop. Ultimately, there was not as much smearing as I anticipated and I was satisfied with how clean the piece turned out.
