Ideas: This piece dissects the male perspective in the form of Atlas, a Titan god who was condemned to carry the heavens upon his shoulders after his war against Zeus. Although women are the primary focus of my inquiry, men are the ones who have created female stereotypes, and in this way they carry the weight of societal norms and the world.
